Dogkiller Wifebeater 2

IFN: the dead

2007-07-05 Dogkiller Wifebeater2

In the real-life story of this wife-beating scumbag and this dog, the dog was actually the love of his life. And he allowed it to escape onto a main road. Where, according to him, it was hit by a car. The dog died a long, slow, gurgling death.

There is enough evidence, based on the extent of his sobbing, and some evasiveness on his part, to suggest that he actually drove over the dog himself. I can't go into details, but my suspicion is that it's more than likely that he killed his favourite dog.

The rest of this story is on my blog. Please check it out!

This painting was initially made in ArtRage 2.2, then exported to Photoshop CS2, then finished in ArtRage 2.2 again. It was all done entirely on my Toshiba Tecra M4 tablet pc. With the man's wife snuggling up to me against the cold. Smiling.

Dogkiller Wifebeater

IFN: Holes and other superficialities

I know someone whose husband beat her systematically for around 23 years.

She left him.

He phoned her the other day, sobbing like I've never heard anyone sob before.

It sounded like a woman on the other end. The woman whose ex-husband it was couldn't work out who was on the phone. She thought it sounded like the wifebeater's sister.

She was kinda thinking that it was news of the wifebeater's suicide.

Suicide was on the cards cos the wifebeater had threatened to kill his wife, her family, the dogs, and himself if she ever left him.

Sadly, he hadn't committed suicide. It was him on the phone. Instead of committing suicide, he had committed murder.

His story is that he mistakenly let the dog get out of the gate. And it ran into the road. And was hit by a car.

His hysteria suggests otherwise.

Whatever the case -- at best, his negligence allowed their dog to be killed; at worst, he drove over the sweet little angel himself.

Who knows the real story?

This painting was made in ArtRage 2.2, on my Toshiba Tecra M4. Unfortunately, the dog (that's the animal on the top left) was injured in the making of this pic. And died. Shame on the wifebeater. Bad boy!

It's all about safety

Maybe NOT a case of me putting my best fist forward. I made this little pamphlet when I heard about someone being gangraped after leaving a restaurant in Melville, Johannesburg, South Africa. Some guys were lying in wait for a young couple. They chucked the guy in the boot, then drove to a secluded area where they gang raped the girl, forcing the boyfriend to watch.

So I thought I'd share a little of my self-defence expertise, in an ironic way, in an attempt to get people to keep their eyes open.

I squeeze what I want

Okay. So sue me for being a contrarian. I can't help it.

Sue me for scribbling something in less than 120 seconds. I had to put SOMEthing up ere, didn't I?

Sue me for staining the screen of my tablet pc as I posed for the damn self portrait. Get me a tissue.

(Now put down your lawyer and go buy some of my lapel buttons.)

It's certain that she's tied to her bed

2007-01-13 Illustration Friday -- Eighties -- Painted

She's got Alzheimer's Disease. A buddy of mine tells me that the REASON patients with advanced Alzheimer's are tied to beds is cos there's a very real danger of them falling out of bed and snapping their limbs.

It's just... so... unsexy.

I mean, I'm used to using proper rope, for one. And that knot around her wrist is inept! What if she remembers her safeword? How the hell are they gonna stop play in a hurry?

Okay. I'm just being down and dirty for the heck of it. I actually have a marginal amount of sympathy and even empathy for this old bat. My gran had Alzheimer's. And she was NOT pleasant to be around.

Check out the more compassionate writeup I've given this on my own blog. http://schmucknews.blogspot.com/2007/01/2007-01-13-illustration-friday.html

God forbid someone ties me to a bed when I'm in my 80s.

Blue skies
love
Roy
