They Let Me Teach

Yesterday I was teaching an English lesson to a guy from Kyoto. It was about "problems with your neighbors." I asked him what advice he'd give me if I said my neighbor's dog barks all night. He said, "First I advice you kill the dog." I busted out laughing. That was the first joke Ive ever heard a student tell.

I feel like I'm finally getting through to them.
